Contractors Needed for Research, IA, Interaction Design
Join the Dynamic Diagrams team and help create new ways to visualize complex information! We have an immediate need for a contractor to conduct interviews and perform competitive analysis.
Responsibilities may include:
• Planning, conducting, and reporting on interviews with client stakeholders and users.
• Conducting and documenting content inventories.
• Conducting and documenting competitive analyses.
• Conducting and documenting heuristic usability evaluations.
• Converting findings from research activities above into requirements.
• Creating wireframes and process flows.
Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years experience with user-centered research, information architecture, design, and evaluation of web sites and web applications (advanced degree may be counted towards experience)
• Bachelors degree or above in a related field
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of information design principles
• Skilled with MS Office and wireframing tools (Visio, Omnigraffle, etc.)
• Attention to detail, ability to work quickly and accurately
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of today's web technologies
• Portfolio showcasing your relevant work
Most work can be performed remotely, but occasional visits to our Providence, RI office or client sites may be required.
