Let the data tell the story

For the TED X conference, Richard Saul Wurman asked Dynamic Diagrams to contribute a chapter to his book Understanding, a visual exposition on U.S. social, political, and economic topics.

Each two-page spread of Understanding asks a question – sometimes editorial, sometimes conceptual. To provide answers, we created charts that allow readers to easily compare data points. We supported the statistical data with visual definitions of pertinent economics concepts.
